Six Things We Hope To See From US Higher Education In 2021
Higher education was hard hit by the coronavirus, forcing colleges and universities to tackle accessibility and cost on a scale never before seen in pre-pandemic times, but the understanding was clear: changes must be made, or the underlying problems that already plague a university will overwhelm it. Many hard lessons were learned by those in leadership positions, yet there were also universities that survived and thrived because they were willing to make the effort to change with the landscape.
Dr. David Rosowsky, former provost and senior VP of the University of Vermont and AGB Leadership Institute Cohort 1 graduate, shares some of those lessons while expressing hope that more universities and colleges will continue to adapt and thrive in a post-pandemic world.
