Returning to Campus Post-COVID
As the probability of campuses re-opening this spring quickly wanes, leaders now must turn their attention to what happens in the fall. Presumably colleges and universities will re-open, so leaders are considering what that means for faculty and staff, returning students, and students who might never have set foot on the campus.
Dr. David Rosowsky, professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Vermont and AGB Leadership Institute Cohort 1 graduate, reflects on the steps necessary for institutions to successfully welcome their communities back this fall. Hint: creativity, communication, and flexibility are key.
Dr. Rosowsky’s article “How to Ensure a Successful Opening This Fall” appears in the Chronicle of Higher Education.
