Steven Hardy is the vice president for finance and administrative services for Passaic County Community College. As the vice president, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership for accounting, budgeting, human resources, payroll, purchasing, physical plant, public safety, and auxiliary services.
Before joining Passaic County Community College in 2013, Steven served as the assistant vice president of financial affairs/university controller at the University of Texas at San Antonio from 2013 to 2014; from 2008 to 2012, he served as the vice president of administration and finance for Washtenaw Community College; and from 2001 to 2008, he served as the controller for Washtenaw Community College.
Steven has served on a number of boards, most notable; he served on New Jersey County College Business Operations in the capacity of chair and secretary, the Michigan Community College Business Officers Association in the roles of treasurer and secretary, the Ann Arbor Learning Community Charter School, Ypsilanti Township Local Development Finance Authority, and Food Gatherers as treasurer. Also, Steven serves as a member of the peer review team for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
Steven is working on his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Rowan University. He has completed all of his coursework and is working on his dissertation. Steven holds an MBA and BBA, both from Eastern Michigan University.
