AGB Institute Celebrates Partnership and Leadership at the Midterm Symposium
The AGB Institute’s Midterm Symposium took place in September, providing an opportunity for the cohort members to interact in person and participate in live panels with in-person and virtual faculty. Dr. Rod McDavis, Managing Principal of AGB Search and Institute Co-Founder, opened the Symposium by welcoming the cohort and sharing insights about presidential readiness. Drs. Nancy Zimpher and Jason Lane, Institute Co-Directors, presented on the importance of developing a theory of leadership and understanding and maximizing your leadership attributes.
Dr. Lane, Dean of Miami University’s College of Education and Health Services is proud to align Miami’s mission and goals with the Institute’s efforts to prepare future leaders for their work in higher education leadership. Miami U President Gregory Crawford participated in the program as a panelist. “Miami University strives to infuse diversity and inclusive excellence into every initiative we conceive,” said Crawford. “We are very excited to partner with AGB and AGB Search to support their mission to cultivate, educate, guide, and diversify higher education leaders.”
